NORMS: MultiPerm complies with ASTM F2476 for CO2TR measurements and with ASTM F1249, TAPPI T557, JIS K-1729, ISO 15106-2 for WVTR measurements.
MultiPerm is the only instrument on the market with patented technology that allows simultaneous barrier measurements for two different gases on one or two distinct samples. MultiPerm comes equipped with two sensors, which can be selected from oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water vapor.
This instrument is designed to measure the permeability of plastic films, single-layer or multi-layer barrier films, metallized films, or those with special surface coatings, laminated or co-extruded, predominantly used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries.
In addition to measuring the permeability of thin films, MultiPerm, equipped with modular accessories, can perform analyses on formed containers such as bag-in-box, PET bottles, and various other receptacles.
